My artwork investigates and explores experiences and materials and the role they play in the development of one’s visual vocabulary and visual narratives. Materials facilitate processing and making meaning of experiences reflecting multiple meanings and iterations of understanding. My investigations address my experiences growing up, the influences from materials and time resulting in works that overtly and tacitly are processes of making meaning and finding understanding of home, life experiences and the personally constructed and altered environment.
