Untitled, 2021
Acrylic and Flashe on stitched canvas
12 × 10 in.
by Audrey Barcio
Audrey Barcio draws on the heritage of geometric abstraction, combining feminist symbology with sacred geometry to impart a visual language grounded in strength, balance, unity and collective resolve. Unbroken Lines is a statement of where this vocabulary of equality comes from, and a proposal for where it's headed. Rather than treating history as distant, the work insists on continuity: kindred lines redrawn and carried forward. Each composition becomes a record of that resonance.
