Lily Nash is a West Coast based textile artist whose work explores the connective and sensory experience of working with fabric. Inspired by quilt history, she explores non-traditional patchwork techniques and materials for a contemporary audience to respond to. Material stories reveal themselves through a delicate process of discovery, intuitive constructing, and meditative hand stitching. Using quilts as vessels, she connects the generations of women who came before her and those yet to arrive.
