I was born with a crayon in my hand and began drawing human figures on my bedroom walls almost immediately. My obsession with depicting the human figure, clothed or unclothed, has not ceased since then, but now I primarily use oil paint. Also, the rich and vibrant colors I was drawn to as a child has not faded over time. I have added to my initial childhood attempts facial expressions and the importance of stance to my subjects with as much simplicity as possible. For this show, as it's name applies, I am submitting paintings created using family photos.
