Andrea Eckert
@a_l_eckert
Working from an interdisciplinary approach, my practice embraces multiple modalities of making, allowing intuition to lead a call and response material play to navigate through the work. Familial work and intimacy ranging from, home projects, to caring for aging parents—profoundly influence my choice of process and imagery. These daily toe downs serve as moments of curiosity. Transforming anything from inherited linens to leftover grout, I engage in a process that democratizes both the art and its formation.
