I create art to make sense of the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed. My work exists where simplicity meets complexity, where the mundane becomes meaningful. Through ink, thread, paper, and the objects we touch every day, I search for connection—first with myself, and then with those who are standing in front of my work. I hope that when someone sees my art, they recognize something familiar—an emotion, a memory, a fleeting moment that suddenly feels shared. My work is an invitation to pause, reflect, and find connection in the small, quiet spaces of life.Through shared experiences, quiet emotions, and time suspended, I hope viewers will step into a space where our stories can briefly overlap.

Schwartz’s choice of medium involves the use of everyday items such as ink, thread, and paper to create a dialogue between the mundane and the emotions they evoke when represented in art. As a mother of three, her current exploration with her art through letters and documents about her female ancestors has a deep and emotional resonance with the viewer creating a shared experience—a bridge between her thoughts and the observer’s feelings.
