Kinhouse Gallery presents Holy Seeds, a powerful 2-person exhibition bringing together artists Luanne Redeye and Courtney Dudley. The exhibition calls us to reflect on land, material, identity, and process. Holy Seeds is an invitation to turn towards collectivism, indigenous wisdom, and care. Luanne Redeye adorns portraits and photographs from the people and places in her Native communities with intricate beadwork and sculptural elements. Her work reflects on land, place, and kinship, weaving together personal memories with a purposeful vision for the future. Starting from seed catalogs, Courtney Dudley’s process involved harvesting plants and creating dyes and working with natural materials to compose quilted sculptural forms. Her works speak to sustainability, bodily autonomy, and humanity's connection to earth and craft.
